Elizabeth Allen was brilliant in the circle on Tuesday, as Allen threw a no-hitter to lead Clearview past Lorain 16-0.

The Clippers secured the victory thanks to ten runs in the second inning. Clearview big bats were led by Jarimar Ruiz, Allen, Alex Hlaves, Jocelyn Pallens and Adri Castro, who all drove in runs.

Allen led the Clippers to victory in the pitcher’s circle. She lasted five innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out 13 and walking zero.

Florez-Santiago took the loss for Lorain. Florez-Santiago lasted two innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out two and walking one.

Clearview had 12 hits in the game. Reichert and Allen had two hits apiece. Clearview also stole nine bases during the game as two players stole more than one.

The Clippers open up conference play on Monday, hosting Wellington at 5:00.
