Sectional Championship Basketball at Clearview

Clearview High School will host both a boys and girls sectional tournament championship game this year.  Both our boys and girls basketball teams earned the third seed in their districts and a first round bye in the OHSAA Tournament. Boys Basketball: Crutcher’s 23 Breaks EC All-Time Record, Leads Panthers Past Clearview

ELYRIA — Dorian Crutcher set Elyria Catholic’s all-time scoring record on Tuesday night, and the Panthers rode his 23 points to a 56-42 win over visiting Clearview in a non-conference matchup. Crutcher’s layup midway through the fourth quarter gave him 1,221 career points, breaking the record from Elyria Catholic’s Bobby Holliday, which has stood since 1966.

Baseball Tryouts

Baseball tryouts will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 20th at Clearview and Wednesday, Feb. 21st at Durling. Grades 9-10 tryout 5-7pm and Grades 11-12 tryout 7-9pm. Any athlete who is involved with a winter sport will be able to tryout when the winter season is over.

Softball Tryouts

Clearview Softball tryouts for grades 9-12 start Monday, February 19th from 10am-12pm at Durling, Tuesday from 3-5:30pm at Durling, and Wednesday 6:30-8:30pm at Clearview. Please bring a change of shoes, a glove, and a bat if you have one.
