Clearview Bowling completed another strong regular season and rolled into tournament action. The regular season came to an end on Thursday with the Boys winning its second straight Division 2 North Shore Bowling Conference championship. The Girls finished third in the conference.
Both teams competed in the OHSAA Sectional Tournament on Sunday. The Boys Team continued bowling well coming in second place at AMF Medina Lanes with a score of 2576. Adam Nichols bowled a 561 series, third best individual score for boys in the tournament. Jacob Ritter bowled a 549 series, good for the 6th best score. The top three teams advance which means the Boys Varsity Team will be competing in the OHSAA District Tournament next Monday, February 18th at Buckeye Lanes in North Olmsted. The Girls Team bowled well but came up just short of advancing with a fourth place finish. However, Gabby Suprun will advance as an individual qualifying with the third highest series of 455. Gabby will compete in the Girls District Tournament on Sunday, February 17th at Buckeye Lanes.
Congratulations to all of our Clearview Bowlers!
