This past weekend at Westlake High School, the Clippers Wrestling team showed outstanding effort as they battled injury and sickness to perform respectively at the Coach Ant Classic.  The Clippers were led by Jacob Kessler who went 3-1 on the day with a pin, Jeri Ruiz who went 2-2 with a pin, David Fitzpatrick who went 2-2 for the Clippers contributing 2 pins of his own, and senior Angel Beauchamp who went 2 -2 with a pin.  Freshman Zach Zaenglin contributed to the Clippers by going an impressive 3-1 with a pin as well.  The Clippers look to improve on their strong effort as they host a Double Dual with Columbia, Fairview, and Lutheran West on Thursday 1/17 @ 6:30 P.M.  Following Thursday night’s contest, the Clippers will head to Western Reserve High School for the Terry Munroe Invitational this upcoming weekend.
