Clippers News · Clearview Softball Splits Double Header

Clearview Varsity Softball split a double header with Oberlin today at Oberlin College. The first game was picked up from a previous rain delay in the bottom of the 5th and Clearview was defeated 5-3. Marissa Bowser had 13 strikeouts in the loss. The second game the Clippers won 8-7 in 8 innings, coming back from two separate deficits. Lizzy Allen got the win on the mound. Jessica Schrenkel had two hits including a triple when Clearview was down to their last strike. Marissa Bowser and Tonja Hannibal joined her with two hits apiece. Hannibal’s hits were two doubles.
