Boys Basketball: Todd Joins 1,000 Point Club as Clippers Fall in Sectional Championship

PARMA HEIGHTS — Holy Name pulled away in the fourth quarter, defeating Clearview 86-69 in an OHSAA Sectional Championship game from the North Ridgeville district on Friday night. But it wasn’t all lowlights for the Clippers.  Javon Todd became the newest member of Clearview’s 1,000 point club in the final game of his senior year. 

OHSAA Scholarship Opportunity

The Ohio High School Athletic Association is again pleased to make available the Scholar Athlete Scholarship.  Clearview High School will choose one senior female and one senior male student athlete nominee for each of the OHSAA Scholar-Athlete Scholarships.  The maximum awarded is $1,000.  Applications are now available in the Guidance Office at Clearview High School. 

Boys Basketball: Clippers Cruise in Tournament Opener

SHEFFIELD TOWNSHIP — The 7th-seeded Clearview Clippers rolled past the 10th-seeded Padua Bruins, 89-54, in the opening round of the OHSAA Tournament on Tuesday night at Clearview. The Clearview Boys Basketball team will host Padua Franciscan High School at 7:00 p.m. for a sectional game tonight, Tuesday, February 26th.  The winner of the sectional game will advance to Holy Name High School for a sectional final matchup on Friday, March 1.
